It’s been a long time coming and we are very excited to introduce your Soka Tribe Chiefs! Some faces may be familiar from our

Great Day Washington morning show segment! If not, get familiar! over the last few months this crew has been in the studio and on stage with the Sokanista showing off their on their unique Soka Tribe vibe and you’ll be seeing more of them in front of  the class. (L to R: Kwabena Safo-Agyekum, Jazelle Hunt, and Jennifer Thomas)

We’ve asked them to describe their Soka Tribe Vibe….

My Soka Tribe vibe is lit all the time. Whether on the road, on the stage or in class, my vibe is fueled by Ghanaian jollof rice.

-Kwab

My Soka Tribe is living out loud, sharing the love of my Carribean heritage, through dance, its the feeling of freedom when I’m with others who aren’t a afraid of a little whine.

-Jen

My Soka Tribe vibe is everlasting! It is reveling in my culture and making my own joy, ’cause if ah doh use it, I feel ah could lose it!
