What you know about this Soka Tribe life? 😉 (i.e. what is your affiliation, how long, how did it start)

I’ve known about Soka Tribe for over 5 years. I went to a dance class in DC and fell in love with the tribe since then.

What brought you to this particular carnival?

I’ve been once before and had an amazing time and met wonderful people.

Have you played mas before? When and where?

Yup, in Jamaica, Miami, and Trinidad

What carnivals would you rinse and repeat?

All of the ones I’ve done before.

What do you wish you knew about this carnival before going?

Nothing, I was very well informed for this carnival.

What would you say makes this carnival different from others?

Hearing dancehall at the fete and on the road. The vibe is unmatched.
